Other Physics Links

Here are a few physics links that we really like. Give them a try!

ResourcefulPhysics.org Physics at your fingertips for students and teachers on the internet. When you access the site you will find information, questions, answers, diagrams, experiment guides and even a link to the author so that you can ask questions. It is designed in two levels Foundation (age 11-16) and Advanced (age 16-19). There is also a dedicated section for teachers.

PhysicsForums.com A great place to discuss physics with others and read what others have said. Lots to read! Check it out!

BadPhysics. A very useful site, with many examples of common misconceptions about the laws of physics. Explains why these misconceptions are wrong, and corrects them, in a clear and easy-to-understand manner. A good read!

PhysLink.com. Physics and Astronomy Online Education and Reference. Tons of physics news, facts, links and resources. Take a look! This site is packed full of information about Physics. It contains information about jobs, reference, and the history of physics. You can read about new theories and ask questions to experts. Look hard to find the jokes and cartoons!

PhysicsCentral.com. A physics site brought to you by the American Physical Society. This site represents professional physicists throughout the United States. Lots of links and things to do.

Physics2000. This is really a fun site, that allows you to explore "modern physics," which is the physics discovered from 1905 to today. This includes, among other things Quantum Mechanics. Lots of colorful Java applets will get you "playing physicist" in no time.

Siltec Ltd. This company has a lot of really neat computer animated movies of things that have to do with physics. Check it out. Fun to watch!

Halfbakery. Doesn't have to do with physics, but has to do with inventing, and thinking of things that should exist!.

Acoustics and Vibration Animations. Lots of really neat computer animated graphics dealing with waves, sound, and vibrations. All in the context of Physics (of course).

HumanClock. Well, we'd rather just look at the clock on the wall to see what time it is, but this site has some of the most creative web design we've ever seen. Between the TRS-80 Model 100 web server, Apple ][e icons, and interesting menu designs, we click here often just to see "what they've thought of next."
