Quick Class SurveyWhat is this "Instant Class Survey?"
Here's how it works:
- In the class where you're teaching, you need to have at least one running computer connected to the internet.
- Go ahead and start teaching the way you always do.
- At some point, stop and pose one or more multiple choice questions to your students. The students can work in groups or independently.
- When done, tell your students to form their "answer code" which is simply all of their answers strung together. For example,
say student/group X has answered your questions, and for #1 they got A, for #2 they got D, and for #3 they got C. Their "answer" code would
be ADC.
- Be sure your internet computer is ready (see below). After they've formed their "answer code" have each student/group
leader comes up to your internet computer and type in their "answer code."
- When everyone is done, this system will give you an output that tells you which answers your students chose.
